Chapter 3

The sun rose, bringing a new day. For some, it was going to be life-changing, while for some filthy creatures, it would bring death.

Jaipur, Rajasthan:-

Vivaan, Shivayy, Nakul, and Rivaan were in the gym. The rhythmic sounds of the equipment matched their breathing. All four boys were extremely handsome, yet none of them preferred relationships after their mother’s actions.

Vivaan said, “Aaj papa Nagpur ja rahe hain, toh tum sab apna kaam karke 11 baje tak ghar aa jana.”

(Today, Papa is leaving for Nagpur. I want all of you at home by 11 pm.)

Shivayy replied, “Bhai mujhe late ho jayega, par agar main free ho gaya toh aa jaunga.”

(Bhai, I might get late, but if I get free earlier, I will come.)

Rivaan said, “Bhai, main shaam ko 6 baje tak aa jaunga.”

(Bhai, I will be back by 6 pm in the evening.)

Nakul added, “Bhai, main aaj ghar par hi hoon… art ghar par hi karunga.”

(Bhai, I am at home today… I will do my art here.)

Vivaan nodded, “Theek hai.”

(Fine.)

After that, they went to their respective rooms and started getting ready for the day.

Dining area:-

Abhimaan said, “I hope tum sab apna dhyan rakhoge aur aisa kuch nahi karoge jisse mujhe aisa kuch karna pade jo tumhe pasand na aaye.”

(I hope you all will take care of yourselves and will not do anything that forces me to take an action you will not like.)

All of them gulped audibly. They knew their father was a man of his word, and they had already seen it many times.

Rivaan said, “Papa, main shaam ko 6 baje tak aa jaunga. No bunking, no useless activities.”

(Papa, I will be back by 6 pm. No bunking, no useless activities.)

Nakul said, “Papa, main ghar par hi hoon… par kitchen mein nahi jaunga jaise aapne kaha tha.”

(Papa, I am at home today, but I will not step into the kitchen as you instructed.)

Flashback – 6 months ago, midnight:-

Everyone was asleep when Nakul suddenly woke up with late-night cravings.

He quietly went to the kitchen and started searching for something to eat. He saw ice cream but thought:

“Yeh kaafi nahi hai… mujhe kuch aur banana padega.”

(This is not enough… I have to make something more.)

He knew he couldn’t cook but still said:

“Par kuch banana bhi toh nahi aata… chalo phir bhi try karte hain, YouTube kab kaam aayega.”

(But I don’t know how to cook… still let’s try, what is YouTube for.)

He searched for Maggi and started following a video.

At first, everything was fine, but while chopping onions, he complained:

“Yeh onion kaatna kitna mushkil kaam hai… kal se sab butlers ki salary badhwa dunga.”

(Cutting onions is such a tough job… from tomorrow I will increase the salary of all butlers.)

Then he turned on the stove, but without turning it off, he went to search for a lighter.

Just as he was about to light it—

Vivaan’s voice came, “What do you think you are doing, Nakul?”

Nakul stammered, “Bhai woh bas bhook lagi thi toh…”

(Bhai, I was just hungry…)

Vivaan sniffed the air and said, “Yeh smell kaisi hai?”

(What kind of smell is this?)

Realizing the mistake, he quickly turned off the stove and opened all windows and doors. Hearing the noise, Abhimaan, Shivayy, and Rivaan came out.

Abhimaan asked, “Kya hua, Vivaan?”

(What happened, Vivaan?)

Vivaan replied, “Papa, this son of yours was about to blast this mansion.”

Everyone froze.

Nakul said innocently, “Par main toh Maggi bana raha tha… usse mansion kaise blast hota?”

(But I was cooking Maggi… how would that blast the mansion?)

Vivaan lightly smacked his head and said, “15 minute tak gas on rehne ke baad lighter press karte hi blast ho jata hai!”

(If the gas is on for 15 minutes, pressing the lighter would cause a blast!)

Abhimaan said sternly, “Nakul Singh Rajvansh, you are restricted from the kitchen. If I ever see you there again, you will face consequences.”

Flashback ends.

Remembering that incident, Rivaan burst into laughter, while Shivayy had a playful smile. Vivaan and Abhimaan remained expressionless.

Nakul wanted to disappear but stayed seated quietly.

After finishing breakfast, Abhimaan stood up.

“Accha, main jaa raha hoon… kal shaam tak aa jaunga.”

(Okay, I am leaving… I will be back by tomorrow evening.)

Vivaan said, “Dhyan rakhiye, Papa.”

(Take care, Papa.)

Then everyone left for their work.

Nagpur, Maharashtra:-

Rakesh was sweating due to anxiety—the fear of failing his task and facing the consequences.

A man asked, “Kaam hua ya nahi, Rakesh?”

(Has the work been done or not, Rakesh?)

Rakesh replied, “Yes boss, hum Nagpur pahunch chuke hain.”

(Yes boss, we have reached Nagpur.)

The man said, “Theek hai, main bhi raste mein hoon, 5 minute mein milta hoon.”

(Okay, I am also on the way. I will meet you in 5 minutes.)

Meanwhile, Abhimaan’s private jet landed in Nagpur.

He ordered his men, “Mujhe woh saari ladkiyan bilkul theek chahiye. Galti se bhi kisi ko kuch hua, toh tum mein se koi kal ka suraj nahi dekhega… and I mean each and every word.”

(I want all those girls safe. If anything happens to even one of them, none of you will see tomorrow’s sun… and I mean every word.)

At the seaport:-

The situation was tense. The Italian mafia was preparing to dispatch the consignment.

Vidya slowly regained consciousness. She heard voices:

“Humein un ladkiyon ko kisi bhi keemat par bachana hai… galti se bhi kisi ko nuksan nahi hona chahiye.”

(We have to save those girls at any cost… not even a single one should get hurt.)

Recognizing hope, she pushed the chair and fell with a loud thud.

Abhimaan heard it, checked the area, and entered the room. He saw Vidya tied to a chair.

He approached her and said, “Beta, aap theek ho? Chot toh nahi lagi?”

(Child, are you fine? Are you hurt?)

His heavy voice made her flinch.

She said, “Uncle, main theek hoon… par woh log mere friends ko transport karne wale hain… mujhe bhi.”

(Uncle, I am fine… but they are going to transport my friends… and me too.)

Abhimaan corrected softly, “Transport.”

She nodded, “Haan… please unhe bacha lijiye… aap acche lagte ho.”

(Yes… please save them… you seem like a good person.)

He said, “Haan beta, main sabko bacha lunga. Pehle aapko safe jagah le chalta hoon.”

(Yes child, I will save everyone. First, I will take you to a safe place.)

While untying her, he noticed injuries on her arms. His eyes turned red with anger.

He asked, “Yeh kaise lagi?”

(How did you get these?)

She looked down silently.

He carefully carried her outside and left her in a safe place.

Then he ordered, “Ladkiyon ko dhundo… aur in mein se ek bhi zinda nahi bachna chahiye.”

(Find all the girls… and not a single one of them should be left alive.)

A violent clash began. Gunshots echoed continuously.

They discovered the girls were in the third room of the ship, but as they reached, they were surrounded.

A voice echoed:

“Kya laga tha, Abhimaan Singh Rajvansh… tum mere area mein aaoge aur mujhe pata nahi chalega?”

(What did you think, Abhimaan… you would enter my territory and I wouldn’t know?)

It was Vijaypratap Singhania.

He dragged Vidya forward. She cried, “Uncle, please bacha lijiye… yeh mujhe maar denge.”

(Uncle, please save me… he will kill me.)

Abhimaan said coldly, “Tumhari dushmani mujhse hai… bachchon se nahi. Use chhod do.”

(Your enmity is with me… not with children. Let her go.)

Vijay ordered the attack.

A brutal fight followed.

In the end, only Abhimaan, Vijay, and Rakesh remained.

Rakesh said, “Sir, main inke saath nahi hoon… yeh ladkiyan mere orphanage ki hain.”

(Sir, I am not with him… these girls are from my orphanage.)

Abhimaan warned him but gave him a chance.

After defeating Vijay, he ordered, “Isse le jao… ab Vivaan dekhega.”

(Take him… now Vivaan will deal with him.)

Vidya came to him and said, “Thank you, Uncle… aapne humein bacha liya.”

(Thank you, Uncle… you saved us.)

He said softly, “Ab aapko kuch nahi hoga.”

(Now nothing will happen to you.)

Suddenly, Vidya saw Rakesh holding a gun.

Before she could react, he fired.

She stepped in front of Abhimaan.

The bullet hit her chest.

“Vidyaaaaa!” Abhimaan screamed.

He shot Rakesh in the limbs and ordered, “I want him alive.”

Holding Vidya, he heard her faint whisper:

“Dadu… main aapke paas aa rahi hoon… phir hum pyaar se rahenge.”

(Grandpa… I am coming to you… then we will live happily.)

Her voice faded.

A tear slipped from Abhimaan’s eye as he held her close.
