Another day began with the soft rays of the morning sun slipping through the curtains of Anishβs room, spreading a warm golden glow across the otherwise quiet space. The peaceful atmosphere carried a sense of calm that had been missing for a long time. In one corner of the room, Yuvaan was standing near the window, speaking to someone on a call in a low voice, careful not to disturb the person sleeping beside him. On the bed, Takshvi was sleeping peacefully, her features relaxed and free from any signs of distress.
Looking at her, no one could ever guess the amount of pain, trauma, and suffering she had endured. Her face held an innocent serenity, completely hiding the wounds she had spoken about the previous night. The memories she had shared with Yuvaan were enough to leave anyone shaken. Yet, despite everything she had survived, she slept like someone who was finally allowing herself a moment of rest.
