The gentle rays of the morning sun filtered through the large hospital window, filling Takshvi's ward with a soft golden glow. The quietness of the room was comforting, broken only by the faint sounds of hospital staff moving through the corridor outside. Resting against her pillows, Takshvi slowly turned her head toward the couch placed beside her bed.
There, Yuvaan was still asleep, his posture far from comfortable after spending the entire night beside her. Even in his sleep, traces of exhaustion were visible on his face, yet she knew he had refused to leave her alone for even a moment. A faint smile unknowingly appeared on her lips as she looked at him. Despite being deeply angry with her, his concern had never once faded. Every action of his since yesterday had silently proved that no matter how upset he was, her well-being would always come before his own emotions.
