The next morning arrived far less peacefully than the previous night had ended. Soft rays of sunlight slipped through the curtains, filling the bedroom with a warm golden glow. For a few moments, everything remained calm until Takshvi's eyes slowly fluttered open. The moment she became conscious, she immediately regretted it. A sharp throbbing pain shot through her head, making her squeeze her eyes shut again. She slowly pushed herself into a sitting position, pressing one hand against her forehead while trying to steady her breathing. Every small movement seemed to make the pounding in her head even worse.
Still holding her head, she whispered painfully: βY itna srr kyu dukh rha h meraβ¦."
